Mr. Jaylen, our Librarian works with our teachers to serve our TK-5th grade students with a goal of raising lifelong readers. In addition to recommending good books that allow our students to experience the world from diverse perspectives, we teach our students information literacy and library research skills.

Mar Vista School students learn to use the Library system through weekly class visits.  The students discover the joy of reading books while exploring our diverse collection of picture books, easy readers, fiction and non-fiction books curated to support every reader in the Mar Vista School community.  In addition to weekly class visits, we also conduct book fairs and Summer Reading Challenge, as well as special events.
